Editing is something I've done for the majority of my life. I was ten years old when I first glimpsed the beauty of editing; the flow and rhythm, the infinite meanings from juxtapositions. It was something I knew I would want to do for the rest of my life.
At 16 I graduated from the BFI Future Filmmaker Academy and at 18 the NFTS Future Film Academy. I am an undergraduate from Ravensbourne University London with a degree in Editing and Post Production.
I am well versed in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and AVID. Additionally, I automate parts of my workflow through code that I write myself (speeding up the process massively).
I want to change the way people see the world. I want to show people things they never thought possible. I make work that really makes an impact.
"Alex was a very pro-active member of the academy and expressed a strong ambition to develop a career in filmmaking. (...) Alex was one of the most reliable, committed and punctual of all 18 students involved in the project."
Alison McCloskey - Project Manager at BFI Future Film Academy
"Alex worked well and wasn't influenced by the pressure. We recommend him most warmly."
Jon Wardle - Director of curriculum and registrar at The National Film and Television School
"Wow. That is all."
Rob Punshon - Content Manager at Williams Racing
